Step 1

Talk with your
realtor

Discuss your home’s needs with your realtor to identify renovations that will add the most value.

Step 2

Professional assessment

A contractor will visit the property to verify work and prevent surprises before moving forward.

Step 3

Agree on a plan &
sign the contract

Once the renovation plan is finalized, the homeowner signs a contract with Upkeyz to move forward.

Important: The agent doesn’t sign anything — this is between Upkeyz and the homeowner.

Step 4

Funding allocated

Upkeyz funds all agreed-upon work upfront. The homeowner pays at closing, directly out of sale proceeds.

Select a start date for construction

Work with your contractor to schedule a timeline that works for you.

Step 6

Market-ready!

Once the renovations are complete, your home will be listed on the market.

Successful sale

After your home sells, the renovation costs are paid from the sale proceeds at closing and are based on a pre-agreed fixed fee.
